For our project I, we have to design 3 things such as book sleeve, paper bag, and other merchandise which will related to our project in Publishing Design module, where we wrote our own book. For the merchandising, I decided to create a postcard which related to my travel book. I have do some research for the ideas of the book sleeves, paper bag and post card.

After I research for the book sleeve, paper bag and postcards, I started with some sketches as well as the size and mockup. Here are the photos for the progress:

After sketching everything, I started design the postcard by using the visuals that I used for Publishing Design.

After showing everything to Mr Shamsul, I came out with some prototypes for my project 1.

After showing those prototypes to Mr Shamsul, Mr Shamsul gave some suggestion for my paper bag and asked me to came out with the real items.

"The reason I took this module as my free elective is because every time I watch korean drama or shows and listening to korean music, I have to look for the chinese & english subtitles and lyrics which it is took my time and sometimes the translate of it are different from it. Another reason I took this module is because I found that korean language is a interesting language to me as some of the it are simliar to chinese in a way.I wish I could learn some basic of korean and explore it so I able to understand korean drama, shows and music without looking at the chinese & english subtitles and lyrics in the end of this semester."
