We still having class on Zoom due to Covid-19. Mr Asrizal briefed us about Project II in more detail. Not only that, Mr Asrizal gave us a lecture about "Personas". He explained details for it to lets us understand. Here are the lecture slides that Mr Asrizal gave:

We don't have lecture on this week because Mr Asrizal are on leave. We continue working on our Project II.

PROJECT II

EMPATHY MAPPING & PERSONA

Week 05 - Week 10

In this project, Angeline and me are partner. For this project, we have to create empathy mapping to create our personas. We will need four personas for this project which for Taylor's College. We did some empathy just based on our assumptions. Not only that, we also did a survey and interview to collect our data.

Here are the first attempt of empathy mapping that based on our assumption (my part):

After that, to collect more data for our persona, we used survey and interview as our tools. Each section have it own question. For the interview, we split the work which each of us interview two people. For my part, I interviewed a high school student which is an extrovert and a father that are quite introvert.

"The reason I took this module as my free elective is because every time I watch korean drama or shows and listening to korean music, I have to look for the chinese & english subtitles and lyrics which it is took my time and sometimes the translate of it are different from it. We can find an article online or even on magazine. For this magazine, we have to establish the magazine as in we identity the magazine genre, target audience and reader's perception. After that, we have to featured the article layout by design the headline, establish the design grids, edit the images and layout the content. First, we have to establish a magazine which is our Project II then we have to design the magazine cover. For it, we have to establish a cover concept which is colour, font faces and design concept.  After Mr Edward briefed us about it, I started thinking of my magazine genre.
