PACKAGING FOR FOOD PRODUCT

Week 08 - Week 10

For this project, we are collaborating with other course of students which is Biosciences students. We have to design a packaging for the food product that they created. I grouped with Angeline Ting for this project. The food product that we need to work on is Watermelon Rind Jelly Pearls. Here are their embedded product brief:

After our first meeting with the biosciences students, we started thinking about our ideas about he packaging and we decided to change their logo and they agree with it. Here are the process of creating the logo.

After showing Mr Shamsul our sketches, Mr Shamsul asked us to finalise the logo and make it with colour.

After we finish our logo, we started designing the visuals for the packaging and the label for the food packaging. Me and Angeline spread the jobs.

The real packaging that we are using is Nestle Greek Yogurt. This is because it is similar to our ideas and what we want to find. So we went to AEON to purchase it and we printed the label as sticker to stick it on it.

Week 08

(17/10/2019)

After showing Mr Shamsul the logo, he said one of it is quite nice and asked us to work on that more and after we finalise it, we can move on to the packaging.

Week 09

(24/10/2019)

After showing Mr Shamsul the labelling for the product, he gave so suggestions which he think the "Made in Malaysia" can used it in logo and maybe the colour of the labelling can change. Not only that, Mr Shamsul said we can add something interactive on the packaging for example barcode. Mr Shamsul also suggested us to add the flavour for the packaging to show it flavour itself.

26/08/2020 - 22/11/2020 (Week 02 - Week 13) Fong Ee Xuan (0332842) Korean 01 Assessment ASSESSMENT Week 01 26/08/2020 - 30/08/2020 For the first week, we have to wrote our study plan for this module and here are the content that I had wrote in Naver Blog. "The reason I took this module as my free elective is because every time I watch korean drama or shows and listening to korean music, I have to look for the chinese & english subtitles and lyrics which it is took my time and sometimes the translate of it are different from it. Another reason I took this module is because I found that korean language is a interesting language to me as some of the it are simliar to chinese in a way.I wish I could learn some basic of korean and explore it so I able to understand korean drama, shows and music without looking at the chinese & english subtitles and lyrics in the end of this semester."
