REFLECTION
EXPERIENCES
My experiences with Publishing Design class was quite nice because it taught me a lot of knowledge especially on publishing and printing industry. In Publishing Design's class, I also learnt different techniques, rules of publishing and printing which will be beneficial for us in the future. For me, there are still many rejected work, sleepless night confusing task in this module. At the beginning of the semester, it was surely pretty busy that we started directly from Week 1. As the weeks went by, it gets more hectic when we were trying to complete our animated gifs. However, I really enjoyed this module, because I learn something new and I had closer to graphic design.
OBSERVATION
By attending Publishing Design's class days after days, I noticed that processes of publishing are one of the very important knowledges to know. Not only that, I realised because of this module, I had become more familiar with InDesign and After Effects because we daily using these two Adobe softwares for this module. Since our class only having few classmates, I also observed that we will helped each other and we had more time to consult than the previous semesters due to having less members, which helped us focus more on what we need to improve.
FINDING
I found out that I actually quite like this module in some ways because it make me felt so much of satisfied by doing the work and it also lets me learnt a lot of new knowledges. The most important things is I get learning takeaways wither about the publishing itself or the technical parts such as the printing, bind, etc. I also found out that, this module actually connected to many aspects of the graphic design worlds which from the book layout, visual that we did, small gif that been done and the animation.
